Project Summary

Designed as a part of the main entrance to a brand new recreational aquatic center, this Landscape Structures playground for 5-12-year-olds offers a fun play space for kids, perhaps before swimming lessons or while a sibling is inside swimming. The surfacing design plays on the facility’s water theme with three “islands in the sea” where the larger center island is a 3’ raised play “mountain” with colorful play equipment encircling it including a Rollerslide and custom climbing net; plus Noodle Pods, hill loops and wavy poles that add to the feel of water splashing on the lush green shores. There is also a Chatter Noodle talk tube so kids can send messages from one end of the “sea” to the other.

This playground will certainly become a great place for kids to make new friends and get swept away in waves of fun.
