Project Summary

Bixby Park is a seaside park nestled in the thriving Bixby neighborhood in downtown Long Beach. The community was in need of a dynamic inclusive playground that suited children of all abilities. RecWest partnered with Landscape Structures to design a nature-themed inclusive playground. Now the playground has become a center piece of all activities in the high volume park, like farmers’ markets, yoga and tai chi classes, and concerts. The playground was completed in 2015.
