Project Summary

Breathing New Life into a Community Favorite RecWest, in partnership with Conejo Recreation & Park District, reimagined a 12-year-old playground and gave it a fresh start. By retrofitting the existing play structures for ages 5–12 and 2–5, we preserved the heart of the space while upgrading it with modern features, vibrant design, and improved accessibility. Nestled at the foothills of Newbury Park’s iconic Boney Mountain, the playground now reflects its surroundings with a mountain-chalet vibe—inviting families to climb, explore, and create new memories in the shadow of one of our community’s most breathtaking backdrops.
